Let’s play

Posted on by Anna Gracheva

Pitch-dark eyes ready to devour completely.
Dilated pupils, with a steely stare. The hunt begins.
The world is shrinking to the size of the one, so warm and alive, you.
Where are you then? A sigh. A rustle. A smell. Take one step. I’ve been waiting for this.

Show your paw. Don’t be afraid. I won’t hurt you right away.
Come closer. You feel flattered by my company. No need for words. Look into my eyes. Pitch-dark eyes. What? Do you feel a trick? Come on. Let’s play. Closer.

Do you feel good? I’m glad to hear it. Did you have a hard day? I’m sorry.
Put your trust in me. I’ll wait.

Your skin is glossy, a spark of interest in your cloudy eyes.
Sneaking closer! Paw by paw. The sparks flare up -more and more.
You look perplexed and embarrassed. Be careful. Don’t stumble!

Now it’s too close. The temperature is rising. You are getting confused in your thoughts and in your feelings.
Where are you going? No way back. Does it you hurt already?

Stop shaking. I don’t care about you. Stop looking. I’m getting bored. Stop hoping. It annoys me. Stop existing. You better swallow the sharp hook, and I’ll slowly pull the string.
